Turn on word wrap you dummy :)

Made for Aston 1.9
: ::]      Description      [:: :
This is my first Aston skin, and my second attempt at skinning anything (first was winamp 2.81, never finished). I was going to make system icons, but I thought about the multi resolution icons and freaked out ( 48, 32, 24, 16! in 4 bitdepths! argh). By the way, don't ask why I called it progressive blue. I don't know myself!
I tried to keep it as smooth and functional (and epilepsy friendly) as possible.... so there will not be things like FLASHING HIT OVER THE HEAD .anks or tripped out day-glow colours. There is excessive use of gel button effects though :)
Comes in all the conventional (3:4) resolutions. This includes 800X600, 1024x768, 1152x864 (that one is weird, but hey.. lots use it ), 1280x960 ( This is god :) ), and 1600x1200 ( you 19" owning bastards! ). If you want the wallpaper larger, or the PSD, post a forum thread on Astonshell or mail me, and I'll resample or post to deviantart, respectively.

Features:
- Zip includes .psd files ( though I left out the 1600X1200 psd for the wallpaper, it was 2.5M zipped, and 6 unzipped. If you desperately want it, ill post it separately and mail you. ) for easy customisation - in most cases, all you will need to do is fill the "BaseColor" layer in.... erm.... a different colour. Even if that layer doesn't exist, there is the obvious solution of the magical Ctrl+U combo. Also includes a nice little file index in the psd folder.
- I have made a schiezer load of .ank's to scatter on your desktop - and I included templates, in PSD and BMP, for people to do their own. By the way, all but a few are pure pixel art :P ha ha! ( postscript : I have some icons in the ANK template, but not in the static template. O.o ) They look good in the side toolbars too :)

There are eight of these .ank's arranged in an array near the big 'Aston' symbol (yes, they are clickable). They all do certain things when pressed.

Row closest to the 'Big A', from top to bottom
( Folder ) Opens My Documents.
( Computer ) Opens My Computer.
( C++ )            Opens the cprogramming forums (cboard.cprogramming.com)
( Recycle Symbol ) Open Recycle Bin.

Other row, top to bottom
( DA )             Opens DeviantART
( Sword ) Opens www.diabloii.net . Everyone likes that game, hey?
( Information I ) Opens the common links page ( C:\Aston\Themes\Progressive Blue\Common Links\index.htm - you might need to change this to reflect your actual Aston folder, if it is not C:\Aston. )
( Two 'pooters ) Opens Network Places.

Keep in mind these are TOTALLY customisable. Superimpose prawn/pron pictures (arhem..... ;) ) on them (don't ask me for any), make new symbols, change them to flourescent green, or delete them all. It's up to you really.

- Includes a file full of extra lines to add on to Hints.rc (the messages that appear on the taskbar. Just do a cut and paste job - the file is called hints.txt, and should be in the theme folder somewhere.)
- Cursor set. Not the most original, but functionality first, thank you.
- The internet ( has the 'information i' symbol ) icon near the Big A links to a common links page, which has links to all the places I visit regularly.. If you have any knowledge of HTML or an editor of any flavour, you should be able to edit and customise the page to your own liking.
-Skins for
       - TrayAmp
	   - AstWA
	   - A_Clock
	   - AltDesk - in two sizes!
	   - Resource Monitor
	   - Disk Monitor ( one image and three colours LOL, thx gladiators :) )

There's a couple of aborted attempts at system icons in the SysIcons folder. Anyone who wants to do them, at 48x48, 32x32, 24x24 and 16x16 is welcome to email me, send me icons, which i might just put into a future release.

Known Issues:
The side toolbars have small (1px) wide lines that were supposed to be transparent : however, they do not show correctly. Yes, I know I should have followed the tutorial guidelines : don't bash it in.
If the theme folder is anywhere other that C:\Aston\Themes\Progressive Blue\ , the internet ( 'information i symbol' ) links page will not show up. To fix this, simply right click the icon, select Settings, and change the address ( say, X:\Flibbertigibbet\Foo\Aston\Themes\Progressive Blue\Common Links\index.htm ).

Feel free to modify ANYTHING you want to change - personally, I don't think that my quicklaunch button is crash hot, but what are you supposed to do to something that small? Anywho, feel absolutely free to do anything you want, as long as you do not resubmit it anywhere else. If you want to port it (unlikely), drop us a line and send us an email at liaung@hotmail.com, or post something on the 'other' board on the Astonshell forum. ( http://www.astonshell.com/forum/ )

Thanks to SacRat for providing the template theme and writing the skinning tutorial - without them, this skin would not exist (I don't know how big the start button is supposed to be! honestly! ).Also thanks to McSIMM for letting me use his font (MicroN55) :-) and for the prompt reply on my email :D
